Blog 5 - Mock Assembly and Data Gathering

Testing

Preliminary testing and assembly has begun. The LiDAR, Raspberry Pi, and a camera were all connected and placed in a temporary box for testing purposes.

We were able to gather data and have one of our group members bike around with a camera and lidar recording data. We duct taped the box to the back of the bike and performed a 10 minute bike ride around Columbia street. Below is actual camera footage from the bike.
