Week 20 | First Professor Meeting with Smith and Mayer
This week we had our first meeting with Professor Smith and Mayer to check up on our progress thus far and receive feedback.
The major takeaways from this meeting:
- Need a method for discerning between what is an actual threat (etc. a tree and a parked car vs. an actual moving car)
- Test with a camera and LiDAR to gather and associate the kind of data we are working with
- Begin electrical and mechanical assembly and testing for a first prototype.
